I don't normally write reviews but for this I really feel like I need to. Just for context, this is my first time ordering from this place and I ordered through Uber Eats and picked up my order myself. Photos included of when I picked it up and before I started eating. Yucca Fries This is what REALLY got me heated and to write the review. $14 for 6 pieces of yucca... I remember reading the price online and being like "ok that's a little pricey but at least I SHOULD get enough to match the price"... WRONG. (see attached photos) That's roughly $2.30 PER YUCCA! My wife and I always enjoy the good Vape Verdean food at Restaurante Cesaria. It's a spacious yet quaint space for dinning and listening to fantastic local musicians and vocalists. Plenty parking and friendly vibe.

An hour wait time to get food that was mid. Half hour when called in, was told another 15 mins at the spot, and then another 20 mins because the “fish was too big.” It wasn’t.

I don’t know anything about Cape Verdean food but figured I would try this place out since it’s close to my moms. Our server was very nice, and gorgeous I might add 😂. Food was very good, seasoned well. I usually add salt to most food but I didn’t here. I had the cod, which was good, but be warned, there are bones. I didn’t even think about it when I ordered, but luckily they were not hard to remove. I will say I was a little shocked by the 15% service fee. I’m used to 3-5% around the city now but 15% is wild, especially when still presented with suggested tips on the bill up to 25%. Having s
