It was my first time coming here. I'm originally from NYC but live in Charlotte, NC. Anyways, but Chef V is the bombs! Her customer service is on point. They had a special so I ordered yellow rice with steak & onions and came with beans and tostones. I also got the mayo & ketchup sauce and that garlicy taste soooo good! I would definitely stop by again

Prices on grubhub are crazy expensive i ordered a small order of rice and baked chicken nd it looked like leftover food 2 pieces of small chicken and a little bit of rice.it looked more like chicken stew not baked .not even a kids meal i couldn't believe it i should've taken a pic and it was literally a small foam container $15 i was thinking it would be a little bit more food portion for that price plus medium size was $20 and a alcapurria $7 ! Nothing was like the pictures online smh --update--(isla responded with some bs i added proof i orded baked chicken definitely not ordering here aga

So glad I found this place. The food is fresh, well-cooked, flavorful, seasonings are well balanced and the atmosphere is warm, clean and inviting. The staff is very friendly. I had the yellow rice and beans dish with stewed chicken. They throw in a couple of tostones if you want. Delicious. Highly recommend. Yes, I would drive here from West Haven again. It’s worth it.
