This place is so beautifully decorated, I wasn't expecting the place to be so large and grand. Everything from the lighting fixtures and choice of black for the celling, to presentation of the tables truly adds to the terrific ambience in The Ugly Dumpling. The bathrooms match the motif while paying attention to both accessibility and diaper changing needs. The stall doors are enormous and have no side gaps and the floor gap is very low near the ground. We got the soup dumplings, green beans with garlic, and then some other stuff to go. All of the soup dumplings were fantastic! Good flavor when adding the dumpling sauce they give you. The green beans with garlic were also really great! Next time I’d like to try the green beans with garlic and “making it ugly” meaning making it spicy. Lupe was such a great waitress. I recommend you request her if possible. She was very patient, kind, and accommodating with all the requests and questions I had about the food. I would definitely come again.
