Larry Holcombe★★★★Stop by to get some lunch. This is an older building which is difficult for older people to get up as there's a lot of stairs. There's some nice outdoor seating, I'm not sure why they were using only one level of it. There's limited indoor dining as well as a bar area. They have a fairly good menu. We ordered the buffalo shrimp, seafood nachos, and a bowl of she crab soup. Pretty good size quantities of each. Especially the nachos. I also saw a burrito come out on someone else's table and I can't even imagine how any would be able to eat all that. It's massive. Anyway. Our food was delicious.
Heather Stellon★★★★★Can’t stress enough how amazing the view is at The Deadrise! I love coming here just to sip a Painkiller and watch the sunset; it’s easily my favorite view in the area. I recently tried the seafood boil and the calamari. The calamari was top-notch—definitely recommend that as an appetizer. The seafood boil was a huge portion, though it came with a lot of butter, so if you go, you might want to ask for that on the side! It’s a bit of an investment for dinner, but given the location and the quality, it’s a great spot for a nice evening out. Can't wait to return!
Richard E★★★★★Great seafood, and a sweet spot to watch the sunset while having dinner. Stays fairly busy. Outdoor seeting can be hot, but watching the sun go down is worth it. Our waitress was nice, but the service was lackluster. Hoping it will be different next time. Will be back!
Dani S★★★★★What is a "Deadrise"? One of my first questions. Thought maybe it was something to do with pirates or some other ominous seafaring lore. Apparently, it's the angle of the boat hull that determines how it cuts through the water. Ok. That sounds interesting. The parking was plentiful on a weekday. There are several stairs to climb to get to the host station. There maybe another way in but I'm not sure. We did not have any trouble, including our family member over 70. The location is so nice. Many sailboats at the Marina. Depending on where you sit, you see the HRBT traffic just beyond the sailbo
