A group of friends and I stopped in for a dinner and we were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. We got a mix of different curries, Pad Thai, and a tilapia dish. We all enjoyed it immensely. Compared to other restaurants in the area with similar offerings, I think this one stands out with the depth of flavor in their curries. Sure, you can taste the creaminess of the coconut milk, and the heat of the spices, but there’s a deeper level to the flavor too that was very enjoyable. I’d highly recommend this restaurant next time you want to try something new!

After reading the reviews for this restaurant, we decided to go there for dinner. My family and I ordered grilled chicken with sticky rice, which came with papaya salad, and pad see ew with pork for my kids. We also ordered pad phed pha, vegetable spring rolls, and kids' egg fried rice. For the papaya salad, my husband asked if they had it with pla ra, which was not on the menu, but they were really nice and made us a special papaya salad with pla ra. The food was really delicious! Thai Harrisonburg is possibly the nicest family-owned restaurant in the world. The owners were so kind and accommodating to my children and the food was generously portioned and superb. The chef was also able to work around dietary restrictions including a soy allergy and celiacs disease (gluten free.) We will come back soon.

We stopped on our drive back to North Carolina. Service was great! The food was quick! The meal was good. We had a lunch special - included soup, salad, spring rolls and entree. We had pad see ew. Gave 4 stars on the pad see ew. We had not had it before so maybe we had the wrong expectations. The noodles were a bit on the rubbery side and the dish did not have much flavor. The coconut soup and the wonton soup were delicious!
