Nice Turkish cafe. Lots of students were there when I went at night but it was serene and the sweets were very nice. The Turkish coffee was slightly disappointing and not as authentic as I would have liked. But it’s a very nice ambiance.

I went to an event for 30 people in a private dining room area, buffet style. So I plated my own food, but wanted to write about the food. The service was great. Even for a large group, our server was very attentive. Everyone picked what they wanted previously and was charged by the person based on their selection. I got the 2 chicken skewers and the chicken was juicy and tender. It was so good I ate the entire thing. The rice was decent, same with the salad with Greek dressing. My favorite was the Jalapeno hummus. It was so good, and had a nice kick to it. They gave us plenty of garlic sauc

I love the Hummus House! The food is always delicious. I'm so glad this restaurant has survived the changing neighborhood and continues to produce delicious authentic Mediterranean food. The portion sizes are generous and food comes out pretty quickly. I always enjoy the hummus sampler, kabab plate, and treating myself to baklava at the end of my meal.
