This evening our ROMEO Club (Retired Old Men Eating Out) headed to the Silver Star Steakhouse in Downtown Helena. We left East Helena and headed to the downtown parking ramp. We walked diagonally out of the parking garage and stepped into The Silver Star Steakhouse. The building itself is a Helena landmark with its outdoor glass fireplace and corner entry doors. The Silver Star kitchen opens at 4:00 but their dining room doesn’t open until 5:00. So we were directed to sit at a table in the lounge area where the friendly hostess assured us that the same menu was served. Looking around our tab

Our first time in Helena, looking for a fine dining experience, we found the best. Not having a reservation, in a totally full and happening restaurant, we were quickly seated. Ramona our server was fabulous, accommodating and pleasant. She was moved to another position due to an accident at the bar, so then we hit the jackpot, we were attended by the manager Cyndi. She took care of us as if we were regulars at the restaurant, made us feel like family. Thank you for this wonderful experience

From the very first phone call, Silver Star made our anniversary dinner feel special. I spoke with Cindy, who was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. She followed up with an email confirming our reservation, which was a thoughtful touch. When we arrived, the hostess greeted us right away, and Cindy personally came out to wish us a happy anniversary and escorted us to our table. I bet this place would be great if you walk in with a Brione suit on and a hot chick on your arm. Unfortunately, I only had my adidas black sweat top and tennis shoes one and was not treated well.
