The staff members are always so welcoming and friendly, and the lake views are gorgeous! I recently went for brunch, and loved that they had a guitarist playing music while everyone ate. It was so cool, and I loved the vibes. I highly recommend The Rudder to both locals and tourists, and I can’t wait to dine here again soon!
M B★★★★3/21/2026 came here for lunch and it was absolutely packed. I was able to snag a spot at the bar which saved an hour wait! The bartenders were busy as hell so it took a while to get my food and drinks in. The food was great. Appetizer was the bang bang shrimp which is tasty. I ordered the smash burger and the Mahi Mahi sandwich and washed them down with a coconut margarita and a bushwhacker. I would recommend this place for food and drinks just don't be surprised by how busy they are especially on a nice weekend day!!

I wasn't expecting much with it being so late but everyone was super friendly, the service was great, and the food was delicious. Now that I live right down the road I will be here all of the time this summer!
