Stopped by Efi Gyro’s Cafe in Jersey City and really enjoyed it. The space is bright and comfortable, making it a nice spot for a casual brunch or relaxed lunch. We ordered a gyro, a lamb & beef platter, and chicken souvlaki—everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. The meats were juicy, the pita was soft, and the tzatziki added a clean, refreshing balance. The Greek salad and fries were solid sides as well. You can also see the kebabs being prepared, which adds to the experience.

Love this spot! Right by the water in Newport – great vibes for a casual meal. Beef & Lamb Platter – generous portion with meat, salad, fries, and fluffy pita. So flavorful! Efi's Gyro (Chicken) – the signature wrap, tender chicken wrapped in soft pita. Perfect. Pork Souvlaki – grilled to perfection, juicy and smoky. They also have coffee and pastries – great for brunch too. Friendly service, chill atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Stopped by during a little time gap while I was in Jersey City and this place was such a pleasant surprise. The space is airy and spacious. No cramped feeling at all. It’s the kind of place where you can comfortably enjoy something quick without feeling rushed. The pork souvlaki was honestly the highlight. Perfectly charred on the outside with that smoky, grilled flavor, but still super juicy inside. Not dry at all. You can really taste the freshness. Finally tried **Efi's Gyro** after constantly smelling the food while studying nearby — and it did not disappoint. We got the Beef & Lamb Platter and Chicken Gyro. The platter was huge (great for sharing), and the meat was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and super flavorful. The gyro with fries inside was such a fun surprise — not dry at all, and the chicken had a nice light char. Greek fries were hot, crispy, and really good with the yogurt sauce. Around $25 per person, solid portions. Only sad they didn’t have souvlaki that day — guess we’ll be back 😋
