Left Bank Bar absolutely delivered. The burger alone puts this place in serious contention — easily top 7 best I’ve ever had. I went with the smashed patty, caramelized onions, pickles, and their signature “Bank” sauce… everything just worked. Perfect balance, juicy, flavorful — one of those burgers you keep thinking about after. Onion rings on the side were top tier. Crispy, well-seasoned, and not greasy — exactly how they should be. Only feedback: we ordered the nachos, and while they were genuinely delicious, the portion size was a bit underwhelming. (Sorry for the terrible photo)

Amazing burger spot that never disappoints. Everything here is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. You can really tell they care about the quality of the food, not just pumping out burgers. One thing I absolutely love is the variety of side options. You’re not limited to the usual fries - being able to choose different sides makes the whole experience so much better. The fact that you can even get a burger with a Caesar salad on the side is a huge plus for me and something you don’t see very often at burger places. The burgers are juicy, well-balanced, and filling without feeling too heavy. Portions are generous, the food is well put together, and everything tastes fresh every single time. Overall, this place is top-tier. Easily one of my favorite burger spots and a place I always recommend to friends. Definitely worth visiting if you love a great burger done right.

I used to go here often because of their unique burger combinations and that they were well made and stacked. Went there recently (after 5y) and ordered my favorite, the Meltdown and onion rings. The burger was over cooked, the bread wasn't grilled as it used to be, and the onion rings were mostly batter. I hope it was a one-off bad experience because it used to be my favorite JC burger joint.

First time eating here. I have to say it was great! The food, atmosphere and service was on point. The place was small but cozy and full for a Thursday night. Everything was fresh tasting and a good portion. They had a great dinner special for $35.00 bucks for 2. You got 1 appetizer to share, 2 specialty burgers with 2 sides for each and 1 dessert to share as well. A pretty good deal for the evening. Drinks not included but if you split the bill it was a good night. I would return here. Thanks Melanie S for the great service.

Everything tasted like it was from a fridge/ freezer burned. We got 2 impossible burgers & a lava cake and it was $49. The fries were so oily and again tasted like they came straight from the freezer. I feel like they used the cheapest ingredients and truly regret spending $$$ money here. For a meal out I’d expect better quality food, especially with their prices!

One of the best burger joints in Jersey City. That have both indoor and outdoor seating. All host girls were really nice and jovial. Ordered their famous Bankrupt burger with a side of fries(charged additional), the meat was good, very flavorful sauce house sauce. Pretty decent portions. They also have a good selection of beer&margaritas. An overall good experience.
