Funky coffee spot in West Hollywood Finding good coffee in LA has proved difficult. Especially when you are an espresso drinker and you don’t have milk to hide poor quality coffee. Enigma is a small funky spot where you can have a good espresso. I ordered a double and flavour was good rich, strong but smooth. They also have a small selection of food and pastries. The owner/barista was friendly and pleasant. Worth the visit!

This little corner spot is always a 10/10 for smooth coffee. Cute outdoor seating peppered on Sunset as well on the quieter side street. They make their own syrups which is always a big, flapping, green flag. I, however, am a simple gal and I like my coffees cold brewed or in the form of an unsweetened iced whole milk latte. They knock both out of the park. They also have a semi-sweet-treat with salted vanilla something and it’s excellent. My husband is a huge fan, too.

Enigma is my new favorite local coffee shop and it’s a hidden gem. If you’re driving too fast on Sunset, you’ll zip right passed it. If you stop in, be sure to order the Sam latte — it’s delicious and reasonably priced. Also, their baked goods are amazing. The blueberry and lemon poppyseed muffins are my two favorites, but you can’t go wrong with anything else.
