We met some friends here for coffee on a Sunday afternoon 5/03/2026. Unfortunately, there were no sandwiches left and some pastries. The blender wasn’t working either. It appears getting here earlier in the day is the key for choice of food and drinks. It wasn’t what we planned on doing but we grabbed a sandwich from Momma Goldberg’s Deli which happens to be right next door. The parking wasn’t difficult to navigate and easier than the Hoover location but the outside seating is smaller. It is a quaint location and we look forward to coming here again in the future.

This place may need to retrain their baristas on how to pull espresso shots. The shot was over extracted giving it a bitter taste. When steaming milk, you shouldn’t be able to hear much noise. It should sound like little paper tears. A key point to pay attention to when visiting a coffee shop because this shows if they know what they are doing. Just overall the coffee shop needs proper education around espresso and coffee making.

The aroma as soon as you walk in says everything. The service is just as amazing as the coffee and you cannot beat a coffee shop that roasts their own beans with excellence. Only here two days and we came back in spite of other shops in the area.
