My family met at Newk’s this past weekend. Some came from Mississippi and the others from Georgia. We had a great meal and a nice visit. When I got back to Mississippi I discovered that my keys had been left in the restaurant. I immediately called Newk’s. They had found my keys and offered to mail them to me! Now that’s service!! I’m so grateful for the kindness of the manager and his staff. Newk’s in Hoover will always be our “halfway” meeting point.

Food was good. ordered small tea as always in a clear cup. cashier told me I have to get a small kiddy cup looked like 4 oz for 1.99 with kids design on it or a huge cup for 3.29 for more drink that both of us could drink . I asked the cashier and she said that people were ordering water and getting other drinks. I guess we will bring our own tea for my husband and I can continue to get my water for now until they start charging for water. I’ve never been to a Newk’s Eatery but my son (who lives in the area) suggested it. There are lots of options, from salads, pizza, sandwiches, soups and so on. You order at the counter, make your own drinks and they’ll bring the food to your table. I didn’t get a photo, but there is a pretty big outdoor patio to sit at that seemed to be very popular on the day we went. They hand half and full size salads.
