Table 7 Bistro is definitely a vibe! The espresso martini was excellent — smooth, strong, and perfectly balanced. Easily one of the better ones I’ve had lately. I also ordered the shrimp and grits. It was good, but not quite great. The grits had nice flavor and texture, but the shrimp could’ve been grilled a little better and seasoned more boldly to really make the dish stand out. With just a bit more char and seasoning, it would’ve been amazing. Overall, I’d absolutely come back — especially for the cocktails and atmosphere. Great spot for drinks and a nice dinner out!

Hard to overlook, Table 7 is attached to the Club Quarters hotel. Although there are lots of alternatives nearby, Table 7 has a good menu for all appetites and budgets. Fun cocktails but no wine list. Our waitress recited the brief selection.We had a small mountain of calamari to start was enough for the two of us. Brussels sprout slaw with an unbunned burger was accompanied by a big portion of fries. Grilled mahi mahi fish atop pasta was sauced with a lemon garlic vinegarette. The menu called it a salad but it was far more. The dessert menu was very brief, but no ice cream available, sadly.

I ventured in because the prices seemed more reasonable than next to the convention center. They were. I also was pleasantly surprised by the yummy and affordable Tiffany Mimosa. Delicious! A little 2 sweet for more than 1, but worth ordering at brunch. I also had 2 eggs over easy with toast and they were made to perfection. Ate it so fast I didn’t get a pic! Service was attentive and solid.

Both the breakfast and dinner menu are great, really fresh and a lot of options. (I personally recommend the chicken and waffles.) I had a good experience with Guncha, she was very attentive and helpful throughout my few times at the bistro. She also recommended me foods when I had a hard time picking. Was not disappointed. Also, the kitchen and dining area are hygienic. The tables were wiped down after each use. Thank you Guncha.
