Very rustic and authentic inside, you have to look for it or you'll probably drive by it. Very nice menu, full bar, good seafood. Service is slow but, you better have your drink selection made within two minutes of seating or you'll wait another ten minutes... I really liked this place, lots of locals!

So we're spending a few days in Indio. We've never been here before and didn't know what to expect, especially didn't know what to expect for food. The first place we tried was Huerta's. It has good reviews so we gave it a shot. Didn't look like much from the outside but you can't judge a book by the cover as the saying goes. I ordered the carnitas plate and my wife got the shrimp enchiladas. My meal was good. The carnitas were cooked to perfection. Not too salty and not over cooked.
