I can't honestly say enough good things. We had a prom date for 2 teens, and one Mom chaperone. Everything from the welcome, to the atmosphere, the beauty of the seating, and our incredible waitress were top of the line. She was so sweet and attentive, and so helpful and positive. Top that off with food that is creative and delicious. I would never have thought to pair orange with fish, but the Orange Halibut was one of the most fabulous dishes I've had. We chose The Boatyard Grill based on Google reviews. We didn't regret our choice for a second. We were seated without reservations or a wait. The waitress was polite and explained all the dishes we were interested in. The atmosphere was wonderful, the food delicious, and the presentation beautiful. I especially want to mention the Orange Glazed Halibut - it’s amazing !!! We were pleasantly surprised by the final bill: it was very reasonable. We will definitely return and recommend this place to our friends. Thank you guys!

We called ahead for group of six seating. We waited over 1/2 hour past the time of our call ahead time and watched numerous groups of 2 and 4 guests being seated who came in after us. I felt we could have been seated since I saw a table empty that would have fit our group. I specifically asked not to sit near the bar since it was noisy and we wanted to enjoy a quiet social evening with family. When we were seated, we were seated at a booth at the bar but instead of waiting another 1/2 hour to eat, we took it. One of us is a diabetic and needed to eat, so we didn't want a further delay. Came with a group, the appetizer game here is strong. All the ones we had were tasty choices. The ribeye plate was spectacular, cooked to perfection with great slides. The potatoes were crispy but soft, the vegetables were seasoned perfectly, and you get a whole head of roasted garlic too. The location is a huge appeal to this restaurant, making it an even nicer dining experience. Worth a try if you want a dinner on the water.
