Jasmine Nicole★★★Visited Downstairs on a Saturday night…Music was good, could use some more upbeat music (dancing, booty shaking songs. KEEP “Cupid-Flex” IN ROTATION!!!) Vibe was enjoyable! Crowd was “See Through”…. Would have rather paid $10 than $15, especially being the security’s batteries were dead in his flashlight & I had to use my light for him to see in my purse…. Lol!! Heard they have Karaoke, on Friday nights will be checking out during the summer! Didn’t visit bar for food nor drinks, was visiting as an “After hours spot” they close at 4am on Saturdays, not sure about Fridays.
cg musical_legend★★★★De real ting chicken was good but spicy. Rice is spicy. They were out of the down south fried chicken. Out of non spicy Jamaican beef patties. Have an extremely short happy hour from 6pm to 7pm on friday. But its a cultural experience to try new foods and seasonings. The plantains were ok. I've had a sweeter plantain, these here tasted more like a potato. The strawberry hill with Hennessey was disappointing. When I saw strawberry puree I thought it would be a sweeter drink. Still giving this place 4 stars cause the service was good and the food despite being spicy was good. Live music on
Lorraine Davis★★★★★I was in town on business. Stop by to see what was on the menu. OMGoodness, they had the absolute best bread pudding that I ever tried in my life. I will be calling soon to see if the can ship it. Seriously, I wish I would have tried it before I left the area. And the girl at the counter was a sweetheart.
Ricky Stanford★★Visited this business last week Friday for the first time. Ordered Jerk Chicken and was told that the food was good. Prior to leaving, I opened the box amd noticed that no "jerk" sauce was on my chicken. The female employee told me that it would be another 30 minutes for the sauce if I wanted to wait. Why not tell me this prior to given me my food. I was very disappointed because I had already waited 40 minutes for my order. Unprofessional behavior and service at its highest. Caribbean food with no sauce!! Unfair to a paying customer.
