The view from up there is beautiful, but that's about it. Not somewhere I would visit again. The DJ bored me and I am not a fan of places that have a dress code for men but women can come in with the same stuff they tell men they cannot. They turned my brother away for sweatpants (in good condition and clean with the outfit) but as I was leaving I saw a lady at the bar in sweatpants that looked dirty and hanging off of her (totally disgusting). I just feel if there is a dress code, it should be across the board.

While the view is amazing, we have never experienced such slow bartenders who did not care if people were served or not. We were there on a Friday night and there were 2 bartenders for a roof top full of people. It took 15 minutes each time you wanted a drink just to get up the bar. There was zero sense of urgency- the bartender took 3-4 minutes PER drink to make. SO slow. It was like the DMV sloth scene in zootopia. Absolutely unacceptabl. We left along with 15 others and went to the bar across the street at the Hyatt. They were so busy too but we got drinks immediately because they had competent bartenders. Will not return.

SIP on the Roof is one of my favorite spots to escape to in Jacksonville. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between relaxing and upscale, making it a great place to unwind after a long day or enjoy a night out with friends. The drinks are always on point consistently well-made, creative, and worth coming back for. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Everyone is welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which makes the entire experience even better. The rooftop views and overall vibe make it easy to lose track of time here. Definitely one of those places you can count on for a great experience every visit.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after our experience at Sip Cocktail Bar on East Bay Street during the Fourth of July weekend, I feel it's important to share what happened. My friends and I purchased the $69 rooftop event tickets (for two people) expecting a memorable Fourth of July experience. Unfortunately, we quickly realized that the rooftop had no view of the fireworks whatsoever. The fireworks were launched on the opposite side, making it impossible to see them. If you're selling tickets specifically for a Fourth of July event, it's only fair to let guests know in advance if the venue does not actually have a view of the fireworks. We paid for an experience that simply wasn't delivered. What made this even more disappointing was that Sip Cocktail Bar later posted what appeared to be an AI-generated or digitally enhanced video showing fireworks visible from the rooftop. That was not the reality of our experience. Guests on the rooftop could not see the fireworks at all. Pos

Parking: 3/5 on a busy day good luck Service 4/5 we came in had a seat it wasn’t packed I could count how many people were there. The bar is located on the third floor so prepare to climb some steps. It’s No food but they do serve hookah. They have live D.J’s for your listening enjoyment. The atmosphere is a nice cool vibe nice seating. The aesthetics is very nice near the bar. They have a nice fan cool area so if it’s super hot outside, you’ll have somewhere to sit under the fan when the sun sets it’s not too hot out in the open area. The servers were super cool. The music was nice. It’s a good time. I would definitely recommend.

Nice Roof top lounge vibe with a beautiful bar and a great bar tender. This location serves drinks only. But you can order or bring your food here . This is a good spot to get some good drinks and listen to a live DJ on the weekends the crowd was chill and the music was not too loud I would come back here .FYI not a rain friendly location .
