Best bean pasta I’ve ever had. We had the bean pasta and the bean ravioli. Great taste, perfect bean texture and very generous with bean amounts in pasta dish and ravioli. Ravioli is stuffed with beans and comes with bean sauce. You get to put as much Parmesan as you want. And free bread for the table. And for desert we had a bean cheesecake, which was absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately our server was a little rude to us, but other than that our experience with the food was great. Definitely would recommend and would visit again.

I had heard the rumors about Jack’s Beans, but finding the establishment is a psychological ordeal in itself. I thought I knew every inch of this college campus, but Google Maps is absolutely useless here, spinning my location icon in dizzying, glitchy circles around campus. I don’t usually write reviews unless there are crumbs involved, but Jack’s Beans deserves a bark. The smells alone nearly dragged my human through the door by the leash. I ordered the baked bean soufflé (don’t ask how — I’m persuasive) and can confirm it is fluffy on top, serious underneath, and very drop-on-the-floor-friendly. Staff did not question why I was staring unblinkingly at the plate for 12 minutes straight, which I appreciated. Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I roll in the parking lot afterward out of pure joy? Also yes. Five stars. Bring a napkin.
