I looove this restaurant! It's one of the few local burger joints that has managed to stand the test of time. Most of my favourite eateries in Salt Lake have closed down, so this place is a godsend. Their food reminds me of growing up, my mother deep frying foods for our birthday dinners. Go here and get a burger, cheese fries, and a delicious milkshake! I can promise you that you will not be disappointed.

I wanted to order online through the Abs Website for a pickup, and saw that they had for different options. I chose Seamless first, then Grubhub, and finally Doordash as the menu options were not complete on the first two and I needed to order their chicken tenders among other things. I submitted the order through doordash for pickup at 10:39 am, and received a confirmation for my pickup. I showed up five minutes early for my pickup expecting to wait a few minutes to get my order, and as I'm showing up I receive a text saying they've updating my time to be 15 minutes past my original pickup t

Ab's drive in is not what it used to be. I had a fat boy hamburger and it doesn't even compare to the original fat boy hamburger that began with this establishment. I'm sorry to see the quality of the food and the atmosphere. The restaurant has gone downhill.

Ab's, for the longest time, was my favorite eatery around. Great food, good old fashioned drive-in feel, and wonderful milkshakes (that I had to say goodbye to a while ago, thanks lactose.) But, unfortunately, Ab's has made a decision that could lead to the end of the struggling diner. A restaurant is only as good as what sets it apart. Just as Arctic Circle is known for its wonderful Fry Sauce, Ab's threw their own rendition into the ring.
