Jay’s Cafe feels like a classic old school neighborhood cafe. The service is fantastic and the food is delish! Ask for Amy’s Sammy - it’s a grilled cheese on sourdough with cheddar, grilled onions and tomatoes, and bacon with a side of crispy fries and ranch. Their ranch dressing!! OMG! You will be dipping your Sammy and fries in it. Come hungry!! Even my Soldier Hubby couldn’t finish his Meatlover’s omelet and hash browns.

When my wife and I were getting ready to move to Kenmore we drove past Jay's several times, wondering if it was still operating or not! Oh boy, is it ever! We finally got to go to breakfast there the other day and were not disappointed. My wife's blueberry pancakes were spot-on, and my Breakfast Sampler was a bargain at $14. Sure, the $1 hollandaise tasted like ... well, $1 hollandaise ... lol! But every other element of the dish was really good! We'll be back - very soon!
