Came here at 8 am on a Saturday morning and sat at the counter. There was only like 4 people at the counter when I got there, when I left it was almost completely full, around 20 people. For food I ordered the Country Fried Beef Steak (topped with Creamy Pork Sausage Gravy) with sides of 2 eggs over easy and Hash Browns. The Country Fried Steak was exactly what I was craving. Unfortunately the hash brown was a bit over cooked. I also ordered a 1/2 Waffle which was awesome and they had liquid butter to come with it which I thought was interesting. Overall nice employees and an LA staple.

Always a great experience. Food is great and the staff is really attentive and polite. There can be significant wait time, especially for a bigger group on the weekend. We waited an hr with a group of 9. On days it's just 2 or 3 of us we get seated pretty quick.

I’ve noticed that I only take the trouble and the time to review restaurants that I like and this is one of those. I live in the waiter, but I was in the area so I decided to give this place a try after hearing so many good things about it. It did not disappoint.. I was there on December 19 right when the doors opened at 8 o’clock in the morning place is very clean. People are very friendly and helpful and the food was very good. The building and interior are amazing, you have to visit. The food was really great too. The pancakes were so light, best diner pancakes I’ve had. My server Brenda was amazing she made the visit even better by giving me such a great experience, she is an absolute darling and the reason for posting this 10/10 review. I will be back.
