I haven’t been to an Outback in a long time. And never this location. I was disappointed to learn they do not serve garlic mashed potatoes anymore. My side house salad had a hair in it and all the veggies were frozen solid. The waiter took it off the table and off the bill. Other than that the sirloin and burgers were good. The blooming onion was way too salty for me.

The baked potato was perfect. The shrimp and chicken Alfredo was ok. The chicken was seasoned well. But the shrimp and the noodles was bland. It's messing something. I barely ate the noodles.

The food was of slightly lower quality than we are used to. The cut of steak we received did not seem choice and was a bit fatty. I was shocked by how quickly the food came out, which may have been the reason for its blandness. It looked great, but it was four stars overall. It was a bit confusing having five different servers, but our main server was amazing. It is nice to be able to pay at the table with the POS system. The cocktails were amazing, which is usually how Outback Steakhouse is. I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for the best steakhouse in Lafayette, but I would suggest

Customer service was horrible, the greeters had terrible attitudes, the manager refused to come out to talk with us to handle our party’s complaint, many people were served before us that came after us and after our “initial 20 minute wait turned into an hour. Another family met us as we walked outdoors and said they experienced the same rudeness. We were never able to order anything. Only after walking out of the door were we approached and asked how they could accommodate us. We left.
