Had brunch with my husband, had a reservation for 12 but we ended up getting there at 11:30. They were so gracious and sat us right away on the lovely patio. Our server was very friendly and brought out the house made donuts right away. The sour cream old fashioned donut was probably the best donut I’ve ever had. I ordered the filet mignon eggs Benedict and my husband had the cheeseburger which looked incredible. He thoroughly enjoyed it and I absolutely loved my dish. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pelican’s Cafe absolutely crushed it. Breakfast here is next-level. We had the mahi tacos (yes, for breakfast — no regrets), the blueberry pancakes that were basically clouds filled with blueberries, and way too many flavors of their homemade donuts… every single one was dangerous in the best way 🍩 The coffee was excellent — strong, smooth, and kept coming. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, right down to the fresh flowers on the table (which we admired and did not steal, for the record 🌸). But the real MVPs are the waitstaff. A delightful find during our vacation! There were six of us, and we sampled a little of everything — red velvet cake donuts, chicken salad, mahi tacos, escarole white bean soup, and a turkey sandwich with cranberry mayo. Every single dish was delicious, and all six of us left happy. The patio had such a relaxed, inviting vibe, and our server was wonderful — attentive without being overbearing. We even snapped a photo of the sign so we can make sure to come back next year!
