This is a small local restaurant known for its excellent breakfasts and lunches. I met with some friends, and we all had a great time sitting inside. I ordered the smoked salmon BLT, while my friends ordered the brisket and eggs, tomato soup, salad, and BLT. I also took a lemon cake to go, and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. In my opinion siting outside is better but it was full and very warm, we would sit outside when weather is better.

Hidden gem on lake Morton that is perfect in every way for a lunch date or meet up. Food is 10/10 - home made, filling, and comforting. Pastry/ cake options I haven’t tried both they look amazing. Service is impeccable and servers are clearly well picked & well trained. Beautiful covered patio on the Lake, right next to the beautiful gardens! Would recommend a stroll after your meal to get those digestive juices flowing! A gorgeous & delicious morning or afternoon outing!

Overall, I really enjoyed my experience here today. The ambiance is absolutely lovely! The service is amazing. Our server was a sweetheart, super helpful with identifying what was vegetarian friendly and modifications. IMHO, the food is just ok. I had the portobello sandwich, which was good, but I think a full slice of provolone and some more pesto would have made it better. The mushroom itself and red peppers were delicious. You can eat inside or on the patio near the roses. You sit at patio table. Previous ? Was it family friendly couldn’t say as 1st time in years that I’d eaten here. I saw one person with a well behaved dog. It was very busy but our group received fast service. With an interesting variety of soup, salads and sandwiches most could find a good choice. It appeared local business folks having lunch out, and prices are comparable to most local restaurants. The deserts looked homemade, but we were full and did without.
