This little spot has a nice homey atmosphere and friendly staff. I wanted something that was low on grease and carbs so I got a chicken burrito for $13, and it arrived fast and hot. Aside from being very tasty and low on grease the portion size was pretty big and NOT skimpy on the chicken. Comes with chips and salsa as well.

Sammy’s is the quintessential dive restaurant in Antelope Valley! It’s not pretty but it’s always relatively quiet and has great food! The food is authentic Mexican and one of the best in Southern California (in my opinion). I visit almost every week! Definitely a treasure of a find!

Great service, good Mexican food. Was surprised how nice the inside of this place was. It felt really old school and authentic. I had the asada tacos combo, and I added an extra taco. The beans and rice were delicious. The tacos were also great. Weak beware adding extra hot red sauce from the bar. ITS HOT! I like how spicy and tasty it was! They also have free chips, and real salsa to dip them in available from a self serve counter. Overall very good experience, and would recommend.
