5 stars for food! 5 stars for servi e. Atmosphere..... 4 stars because parking is horrendous and the place is small and tight making it very noisy. What used to be a private residence has been turned into a restaurant. No need to fix the dilapidated sign out front.....everyone in Laredo knows this place is historic for great food. Homemade tortillas are unbelievable. Prices keep the elderly on a fixed paycheck as regulars. Hard to find an empty table during peak hours because the food is that good. Ice sturdy tables and chairs are important to me and the waitresses keep the tables

An ok local place to have breakfast. Witness a patron discuss with the waitress, which made the atmosphere akward for a moment. The food tasted fresh, not to mention the barbacoa and menudo.The parking area is small, so park a block away if you do not want your vehicle damaged because of parking limitations. The food is flavorful. Menu is not extensive but just the right amount of choices. The place also has specials. I have been there a few times, and I usually bring outside drinks and I have never been told anything. Service is fast. Place is not that big and usually gets packed. So be there before the rush of people at 11 a.m.
