This place was great! We made a reservation, but I don't think it's really needed. The 6 of us were sat quickly which was great for a Saturday night and at the tail end of their happy hour. The space is pretty big and it looks like they may have an upstairs. Our server was great! She was quick and on top of things while also helping the group at the bar. I ordered the yellow birdy colada to drink which was yummy and strong! For food I got the taverna burger which came with fries. I got through about half of it, it was really good. Cooked well, good toppings, and the bun was toasted perfectly.

I really wanted to find a dog friendly restaurant with a cute patio, so today we’re reviewing to Terna Costera in the Arts District. As a reminder, I don’t get paid or comped for my reviews, so let’s get into it. We came around 11:30 AM on a Sunday, and we had the patio all to ourselves. We started with the cucumber Mojito, which was nice and refreshing. We shared the shrimp ceviche appetizer, which was OK, but it was missing a little something - maybe some jalapeños would’ve helped. I was very surprised at the quality and flavor of the food here. We kept ordering more and each item was better than the next. Our server was great too, I believe her name was Diana. They had live music which was very eclectic and much different than other bars in the area.

Food was excellent. Great prices for the portion that you get nowadays. The fries were hot. The hamburgers were great. The french fries were hot and crispy . The Hawaiian pizza flatbread was very good. It's a thicker flat bread and when I would be used to but it tasted great. They have a happy hour menu which makes it even more affordable. The one thing I would say is the chairs I very uncomfortable and the tables were rocking a bit as they were unsteady. Service was great. The manager or chef came out to see if we enjoy our meal. The flat bread came out at least 10 minutes after that burgers
