We love their smash burgers! Last night I decided to try a steak n onions. Ordered online. Disappointed there were NO grilled onions, or provolone. Just meat, lettuce and tomatoes. Very bland. Too far to drive back to return it. I checked my order to make sure I didn’t accidentally opt out of those items. In fact I did request and pay for extra grilled onions. I know they can do better because we’ve ordered food from them several times in the past.

Great hidden gem in Leander! Tucked behind the Night Owl bar in Leander. I went at lunch time so I can't speak to the atmosphere, but I'm definitely going back for an evening outing. If you love cheese steak you have to try it.

Our experience at The Boss Cheesesteak was amazing! The food was reasonably priced for a food truck and tasted delicious from the smash burgers to their house made raspberry lemonade and other flavors! The ambiance and the shade/ water misters was a nice touch especially in this Texas weather. Highly recommend this to my friends and family. The owner was extremely friendly and made our experience one to remember. Will definitely return on a weekly basis. 👍🏻

Fantastic Philly Cheesesteak, and I have heard great things about their burgers as well, although I haven't tried one myself. Really my only minor complaint is that it's a bit on the pricy side, but I suppose with the price of meat nowadays that's not overly surprising. Be aware, it is a food truck so the only seating will be outside, but it is covered seating. You can parallel park alongside the street or go down to the Leander Municipal building to park in their lot and walk over.
