Such a hidden gem in Lisle! From the moment we walked in, the experience was amazing. The lady at the counter was incredibly warm and helpful, taking the time to walk us through the menu and give great recommendations. We ordered the dahi papdi chaat, bun kabab (something I used to love back in India), and a paneer roti roll. Every single item was spot on. We really didn’t know what to expect when we entered but, atmosphere was warm, cozy and welcoming. We ordered veggie burgers, samosa chaat, paneer roll and chai. I must say every item was top class and had absolutely authentic Desi taste. Burgers were nice, crispy and tasty. Samosa in samosa chaat was warm and crispy, Chana/ chickpeas were very soft and with the overlay of sauces and chutney, it was warm delicious, tangy, spicy and tasty. Paneer roll is just the same as others, so well done and delightful. To wash it all down, Karak chai is the perfect, had perfect taste with authentic flavor.

9/28/25 update: I wanted to revisit this place since I had a very positive initial experience. This time I got the karak cheesesteak and grilled tandoori chicken sandwich. I also got a mango refresher. -karak cheesesteak 5 - it is so difficult trying to find a good place that makes cheesesteaks. The one by me skimps on the meat. However, here as in the picture, you can see they were very generous with the meat. The meat was very tender and flavorful. I like that they put their own spin on the sandwich with their spices.
