I can definitely see why this place is an institution in this area. Phenomenal, soft serve and they do daily spins on the flavors. They offer four different sizes of cones. They also offer a food menu. Think of it as an upscale and local dairy Queen variant. On our first visit, no negatives at all. The staff here is friendly and engaging. A must visit!

Soft serve only with limited flavors. Large portions so choose wisely. They take cards. A few tables out front. Looks like they serve food. The chocolate mocha frappe was just ok so I’ll chock that up to soft serve vs hard ice cream for the lack of flavor. Eating more like a 3.5. Worth a stop if you are craving soft serve.

As kids in the sixties, the only legit soft serve stands had to have a big ice cream cone out front, or a sign with a cone on it. We were very picky about the source of our rare trips for ice cream. King Cone has that nostalgic vibe for me. We stopped on a perfect summer day and treated ourselves to a delicious classic twist cone. But they have much more, from different soft serve flavors to classic Sundays and grilled hot dogs. They have a decent size parking lot and a couple of tables. It may have been my nostalgic mood, but King Kone checked every box for me. Terrific!

Great ice cream! I’ve been driving past this stand for years, but I always seem to catch it on the off-season. It was open today, so I decided to finally stop and try it. Classic chocolate-vanilla twist with chocolate sprinkles. Best vanilla soft serve I’ve had in years! Very creamy, not icy like some soft serves can be. Chocolate was good too. Worth the drive! Price is comparable to most homemade ice cream stands in the area, maybe even a little cheaper.
