My partner and I had our first date at Same Day Cafe two years ago, and came in today, 4/24/2026, at around 11:30 AM to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. We were both unfortunately very, very disappointed with our latest experience. We walked in and sat ourselves, which was not an issue at all. No one greeted us, though, or explained how ordering worked, but we figured out that we needed to scan a QR code and order from there. Warning, friends with cash and people on dates: You have to order off a third party website, and that seems to be the only way to pay at all, so cash is a no go. This a

The best BLT I’ve ever had it’s so fresh, the bacon is fried perfectly, the side pickle and the lil salad pairs so well with it. I got a London fog along side with it. It has lavender milk and cream super delicious and you can get it cold and hot. My go to coffee shop and breakfast place to go from now on

Outstanding experience! This cafe cares about sourcing quality local ingredients whenever they can and building a creative menu with them. We ordered the Corned Beef Ruben made with local beef, brined in-house on marble rye that they bake themselves. The Roasted Carrots with toasted coconut and Crème fraiche delighted us more than we expected. We left with smiles and a last minute bakery grab… a brown butter cookie shaped like a cow, chocolate chip cookie with ribbons of melted chocolate and a pistachio muffin! There are lots of cafe choices in Logan Square. Do yourself a favor and move

This place was recommended to me but it didn’t quite live up to expectations. The menu isn’t too diverse but you can get side orders added to your meal. It’s vegan based so no cheese on most of the items. The earl grey lavender latte was great though! The prices are higher for the portion but I believe they do use local ingredients. Right now in a bit of a tricky area with the construction but after that’s finished maybe a good spot to grab coffee and go!
