The reason for my low rating is because the owner of this place really is something else. I mean why would he do his staff like that?! For context, on the busiest day of World Cup at the Mexico game the place was overly crowded. Only 2 bartenders and 1 food runner. The amount of stress they were on was overwhelming even for the people watching them work their butts off to get to everyone’s orders. I applaud them tbh because anyone else would have walked away from the job. The bouncer didn’t do his job at keeping control of the crowd attendance. They advertise all kinds of pizza on the internet and on their app. They say they have keto pizza and empanadas. Then after we search for parking. Pay for the parking and walk to the bar they only have flatbread. Nothing keto. What a disappointment 😞 If their not going to serve it, clean up your internet information.

I recently re-visited the R Bar and found it to be a nice pub with cold beer, many varieties on tap and bottles. The bar service was great, the bar tender was kind and friendly to this outta towner, its great to be welcomed in! I didnt get a chance to try their extensive pub grub menu, but it looks appealing. There were plenty of sports on their many overhead big screen TV's. I look forward to my next visit when I'm in Long Beach,.,.,.,
