Great lunch special for ~$15 But the hidden banger was the soup of the day. For $8 a hearty lentil chicken soup. Omg! I’ll be thinking about this soup for a while… The lunch special chicken was juicy and flavorful and absolutely bangin’ with the Aji Verde. Rice and beans were solid loved the tenderness of the beans themselves. Not the biggest fan of the dressing on the side salad but they are generous with the avocado. Would love to try some of their other dishes.

I was a loyal customer of this place until they tried to scam me with my latest delivery order and NO MORE! I always ordered whole chicken dark meat and paid the extra $4 so total it was $33 for whole chicken dark meat. They usually send me 5 pieces this way. Now they only gave me 4 pieces i called the restaurant to complain and spoke to the manager who had absolutely no customer service experience and zero simple math skills. One of my favorite places to eat Lunch or Dinner. Luis Chef is making a big difference in the Menu. Roberto is the Best all the staff is Amazing. You can order anything from the Menu and everything is delicious. Today is Cold in NYC so we have soup, Aguadito Peruvian it was so Good We have chaufa so perfect and The Postre was on point 3 Leches Peruvian Style. Luis ( Chef ) se Paso ☺️. It's been years since I have stop by Pio Pio and in the last three months I had the pleasure to dine here twice. Happy to say both times were just how I remembered. Quick seating and fast service with really good food. I went with my go-to... Empanadas de Pollo: stuffed with shredded juanita's chicken.
