I recently visited Dave & Buster's - Maple Grove and had an overall decent experience, but there were a few things that could definitely be improved. Service in the bar/restaurant was fast, but the people manning the prize counter could not have been less enthusiastic. We went to buy tickets for the human crane machine and stood in front of the counter for a hot minute while the employees didn’t even acknowledge us, just taking to each other. When I finally got their attention, the girl acted like checking us out was the biggest inconvenience in the world. She told us to wait by the crane machine and someone would be right over, so we proceeded to stand there like idiots for at least 15 minutes before I asked if anyone was coming. Turns out

I came to this restaurant on super bowl Sunday, to check out their new re-vamped menu. I ordered the fries GPT, the honey bbq wings, and a margarita. The waitress was nice but put in a couple of my orders in wrong. At first, I order the fries gpt as an appetizer but it was brought as a side instead. When I asked the worker who brought out the food if the fries were the “appetizer size” he said yes and walked away, then when I asked the waitress she said no, it was the side version, even though I ordered the appetizer. Went there with my father for a pre-dinner drink. Bartender was great - very personable and friendly and was overly accommodating to make sure our drinks were made to taste with a few requested modifications. He made the experience a memorable one and I would highly recommend this place to anyone who just wants an enjoyable and low key bar experience.
