We went on Valentine's Day, the place was busy. Unfortunately several tables were reserved and we ended up with a table right next to the entrance door. It wasn't so bad, I only had to suck in my gut once, so the server could get out the door with her arms full. When our server arrived we ordered our beverages and fried cheese. It took a minute for our teas to arrive but like I said the place was busy. Our drinks arrive and we place our order. We order a small pizza to share, my friend orders a small house salad and chicken parmesan. I order a Greek salad with extra Feta and extra Greek olives

“Best stromboli in town”. Ok, I’ll be the judge of that. Great cozy atmosphere. Really top notch. Stromboli was big and great crispy dough. Good service. Reasonable prices. I even got dessert. 4.4/10, but this could be raised once I try the pizza

We enjoyed everything about this restaurant. It's an old house with a beautiful outdoor patio. The atmosphere was great, our waitress was super helpful and always gave us a nod to see if we needed anything. We ordered a bottle of red wine, cauliflower bites with a great hot dipping sauce and pizza. Wine was excellent and food was hot and delicious. Owner of the restaurant came out from the kitchen to visit with us and other customers. We will definitely be back to enjoy the outdoor patio, excellent food and family friendly service.

My wife and I started coming here when we first started dating. We’ve spent a lot of date nights and a few birthdays here including my 21st. Mama’s is, to me, the best italian place in the RGV and will always hold a special place in my heart. The alfredo is the best I’ve ever had anywhere and the chipotle pasta is top tier.
