Palominos in McAllen was an excellent choice for our recent work dinner. The steaks were cut and cooked perfectly, and everyone really enjoyed their meals. Our server, Jose Hernandez, provided outstanding service all evening. He was on point with timing, very attentive, and also knowledgeable about the wine list, offering helpful recommendations that paired well with our food. Overall, it was a great experience with excellent food and top-notch service. The steaks are GREAT!

Great place for special occasion and place to see friends as well. Upon arrival your greated at door and escorted to your table and seated. Very professional from the staff. David our waiter was courteous and patient with us since it was our first time there. He provided us the specials and would answer any questions we might have on the menu. We had the Guacamole with Ribeye as appetizer and it was awesome. For our meal we went with the 20 oz Prime Ribeye with was good and recommend it for 2 people. Highly recommend the restaurant and you wouldn't go wrong going there. Would recommend the

One of the best Mexican steak houses in south Texas, everything has a Sonoran style, Bacanora steak, grilled panela cheese and rib eye are a must try, great salsas and their mixology is at a good level, great place in McAllen. 9.2 out of a 10 in my rank.
