“Amazing food, amazing cocktails, amazing service!”

Made reservations and noted it was a birthday dinner. When we arrived we were sat across from the bar directly in front of the outside door along a window. We reminded host we had a reservation and asked to be seated in the restaurant. They told us it was an hour wait. Our table and the table next to us had to leave our winter coats, hats and kids at table next to us had their hoods on. Also so noisy we could barely hear each other. The food was good but the atmosphere and placement with a reservation was not what I expected at Giacomo’s. Also, wait staff was less than sympathetic when we said

Prepare for pasta with a side of retribution. The hostess was rude and clearly doesn’t care about customer service. We called ahead to let them know that we were running late from a kids performance for a 6:15pm dinner reservation and they assured us that we could still make it. When we arrived at 6:36, the hostess told us that they gave our table away because we were too late even though we had called.

Visiting from out of town and this restaurant was recommended as must, by a local. Did not disappoint. May have been the best bruschetta and Marsala I have ever eaten. Can’t wait to have a word with my Sicilian friends when I get back home. They need to step up their game.

I've only tried one dish so far, so I'll leave it to evaluate more precisely on another occasion. The atmosphere is very beautiful, cozy, the prices are fair and the dishes are quite generous in size. I always walk past the door and see that the restaurant is always full, so I recommend making a reservation. The desserts are really tempting, although I didn't try them, I was very curious to try them on my next visit. The service is great, fast and efficient, everyone is very friendly. They have 1 gluten free pasta option, which is relevant to me.
