The burgers and food made in the original grease has been circulating all these years is what makes it amazing. You are eating and tasting history and a long line of cooking history. Old school burger stand feel im sure hasn't changed much since it first opened. Great staff and servers. A must when on Beale st.

Anyway, I was greeted warmly when I walked in and had my choice of seats. I was immediately given a menu and my order was taken as soon as I was ready. Service was friendly and prompt throughout my visit. I came here on recommendation of a coworker based on Dyers history and greasy claim to fame. Beale Street was practically deserted due to the time and date (day before Thanksgiving). I ordered a double double and a glass of local beer. The burger and beer arrived quickly with polite service. The burger was nothing over the top, but it was very good. Nothing wrong with it at all. I was very pleased. Maybe, if nitpicking, I could say that the meat could be seasoned a bit more.
