LexiSsAshay★★★★★Stopped in on Main Street on a Friday evening while enjoying all the downtown festivities after spotting a sign claiming they had the best burgers. Naturally, I had to see for myself! We arrived around 7 PM before the big crowd came in. The gentleman at the door let us know no outside drinks were allowed, but he was super friendly about it and jokingly challenged us to finish them first, which definitely added to the fun atmosphere right away. While chatting with him, he shared that the building is known to be haunted and encouraged us to explore upstairs. Of course, we had to check it out! Up

Savory onions, a juicy patty cooked to perfection, and just the right amount of greasy goodness. You really can’t go wrong with a little grease, some drinks, some “divey” scenery, and a good time. I love finding unique experiences when I travel, and this is definitely one I’m glad I found. Great vibes, good food, and a memorable Memphis experience! Don't knock it until you try it!

Truly, I didn't want to leave. I'm from NYC and I love a dive bar. Earnestine & Hazel's is one of the best I've ever been to. If you plan on visiting, 2 things are a must; make sure you venture upstairs (it's a VIBE!) and get a Soul Burger before you leave. I can't wait to go back to Earnestine & Hazel's! 10/10
