Came here with a party of 11 for my birthday ! We had a great time! Our hibachi chef was great! He started the hibachi show with making a birthday cake out of fire on the flat top grill! He was very enthusiastic and entertaining! One of the best hibachi shows I have seen in a while. He knew how to keep the crowd, laughing too. He had a bunch of jokes :) I ordered the hibachi filet mignon with shrimp. It was delicious. I also ordered a scorpion bowl for my celebratory drink. Just moved down the road in Wallingford and was looking for a good hibachi spot. Only went in for a pickup order so i cant speak for the quality of the service when dining in however based on the very friendly man who i can only assume was the owner who wrang up my order ITs probably good! On to the food, we got a hibachi chicken and hibachi shrimp, and a side order of spring rolls. The spring rolls were some of the best me and my wife have had. This place is fantastic and the price tag is reasonable. The atmosphere was comfortable and stylish. All of the staff worked together to ensure that our large party was taken care of quickly. Everyone received exactly what they ordered, quickly and with no mistakes. The food was as excellent and the portions are large enough that you will have leftovers. The Hibachi chef was great. He was funny, engaging, lively, and most importantly - his food was delicious. There is fire. Food is flying through the air. Sake is being squirted. You are not just a passive participant here. 12-28-24 On A Positive Note: The cook has a very upbeat personality. I haven’t been here in years so I planned a lunch/shopping ladies day. For starters, I had to call out to the server whom was seated at the opposite end of the restaurant, rolling silverware. I ordered an appetizer and a “Melon Ball.” 🤢 Upon receipt, it resembled a tall glass of orange juice, which I do not like.
