Delicious authentic Peruvian food! Tastes like you're in Lima! Ceviche Mixto had 3 types of flavors and I would recommend it (make sure it's at least a little spicy) Papa a la huancaina was good too. For dessert, we got a typical Peruvian dessert called Picarones. It's not on the menu but they have it during the weekends. Reminded me of Lima and it was fabulous!!! A must have! Elizabeth was our server and did a great job and made excellent recommendations! Food arrived fast and would highly recommend! We'll come back next time we're in Miami!

If you’re looking for authentic Peruvian food in South Beach, this is a must-visit. We had an incredible dinner at Chalan on the Beach, and everything exceeded our expectations. This is a quaint place with good food. This was a place to grab lunch, as we had 1.5 to dine. Our server was very hospitable and took great careoff our table. She also catered to the child that was at our table. The food was hot and it did not take long for it to be served. I enjoyed the Chalan Chaufa Seafood Fried Rice which is a made of fried rice, with Steak, Chicken, Shrimp, Octopus, and Calamari. It was plentiful and served in a bowl. My most favorite restaurant in Miami! I've been going here for over 15 years. Someone had recommended it to us when we were here. I've been going to Miami ever since just to eat at this restaurant. I seriously book a hotel that is walking distance just so I could eat here. My favorite is the lomo saltado, the arroz con mariscos and arroz chaufa de mariscos. Big servings, great flavor and lots of protein! Not stingy at all like some of the expensive restaurants in Miami. Always friendly service too! I highly recommend this place. You'll be hooked!
