Generally very fond of the Outback Steakhouse as the food is usually very consistent from location to location. Tonight I had the Aussie Steak Sandwich and while it called for a toasted baguette it was at best a soft Subway bun. To be honest that did not detract from the sandwich as the steak was tender and flavourful it just wasn’t quite as advertised. It is difficult to come by an Outback Steakhouse these days in the Bay Area. And I'm so glad that this one in Milpitas is standing strong. Given the name "steakhouse" makes you want to really believe in their steaks but to be frank, that typically leads to disappointment as it is difficult to get high quality beef at the price point they offer.
