We were excited to find out Milwaukee had a public market, but if fell short of our expectations. We have been to so many markets across tha US and the world and Milwaukee's Metro Market didn't stand up. I think they could easily expand into a neighboring building however!

its clean and stocked most of the time. but theres rarely many registers open. and cashiers are so unfriendly it completely ruins your mood. prices arent exactly affordable. there's often random people loitering outside the front entrance. i only go to this store because its close by but the customer service makes me never want to return

I moved to Milwaukee in November 2025 and started shopping at Metro Market regularly. At that time, the store was clean, organized, and well-stocked with fresh produce, meat, and dairy products. Unfortunately, since December, I’ve noticed a significant decline.
