Stopped in the evening of New Year’s Eve and really enjoyed our visit. The place itself is very cozy. We were there when all of the Christmas decor was still up and that was a lovely element to our experience. Our server was also extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We got the mussels, half hen, and burger. They also gave us a complimentary popover, which was surprisingly super delightful. Ate at the Normandy Kitchen twice during our stay at the Normandy. Both times the staff was phenomenal. The guy we had at our dinner had a lot of unique stories and facts that we converted about. The women who was working in the morning during our breakfast was the absolute sweetest. Kind, caring and attentive. To top it off all the food we had was amazing! Everything is fresh, homemade and flavorful. With pretty presentations. Both times we visited, there wasn’t many other people in the restaurant so we were seated immediately. Front of house staff are wonderful! The bartender helped me out with seating (which tables are open vs tables that already had a reservation.) The waitress that took my order, Theresa, was witty and had me laughing every chance we got to talk. I will have to wait on the alcohol selections for a couple years, but from what I can see available, they've got great choices! The food prepared was amazing, particularly the hash browns. They were crispy on the outside, yet soft and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Hands down the best hash-browns I've had.
