I had dinner at Sons and Daughters last night and have been dreaming about the experience all day today. I would refer to this as an "experience' rather than just a meal - everything from the moment I walked in the door was perfectly curated for an amazing ~3 hours. As a solo diner who has never really been to a fine dining establishment, every single staff member made me feel comfortable and welcomed. Unforgettable. The precision and quiet synchronization of the staff might be my favourite part which is crazy considering how excellent the food is. And the sourcing? Unreal, halibut caught 3 hours prior to me eating it. Special ducks only a certain number of them raised a year for us to get to eat.
