Was in the area at lunchtime and decided to give this place a try. Ordered catfish and shrimp plate with okra and green beans. The place is old but was decorated ok. My plate and sides were delivered to my table in short time. Both the shrimp and catfish had traditional seasoned cornmeal. Both tasted great and were cooked perfectly. The green beans and okra were also very good. Service was great as three different staff came by to check in on me and refilled my tea. I did enjoyed dining here.

What a discovery! Have been searching for good catfish for 4 years since moving from Houston. Lucky for me I found GREAT catfish. The catfish & shrimp plate was awesome. AND they have Louisiana Hot Sauce. Means they are real players. Will come back!

The chicken tenders, also perfectly breaded and cooked. The taste for every item we ordered was on-point! Definitely had us wide-eyed with the first bite up until the last. Absolutely the best! Food was delicious and the portion size for price was great. Place was clean and well decorated. Server was sweet, tentative and knew menu well. Owner came out to check out on us and greet us. Will definitely go again for the sweet tea and good fish platter! YUM!!
