I’m a wedding planner and we had Pollmans make both cakes for a wedding recently. The cakes were the stars of the reception, everyone was asking about them. Almost everyone had at least a slice of both, people kept coming back by to ask who the baker was because they not only looked beautiful but tasted so good. Pollmans were great to work with in the planning process and the staff that delivered were just lovely. Highly recommend!

If I could give zero stars I would I purchased a cake for the daughters birthday emailed a photo as instructed the cake looks nothing like the picture. They made what they wanted and put some old strawberries on top I’m highly disappointed. I would never ever in my life order a cake from here again totally unacceptable.

I cannot say enough good things about Pollman’s Bakery!!! They baked and decorated 3 cakes for our daughter’s wedding at the Battle House Hotel in Mobile: Brides cake, Grooms cake and Bridal Charm Pull cake. All 3 cakes were absolutely delicious and decorated perfectly!! Michelle helped us from start to finish in the most professional and pleasant way. From scheduling tastings, to helping us determine amounts of cake needed to helping us finalize the way we wanted our cakes decorated and flavors - she was with us every step of the way and made this such a pleasant and stress- free experience!

Today, I met Vance McCoy, the newish owner of Pollman’s (where have I been!?!). Aside from the old Broad Street location, there’s a shop in the old Bluebird Hardware at UMS/Wright. I tried a traditional cinnamon cream cheese king cake. OMG! STAND BACK! SOOO GOOD! Vance put his spin (brioche not Danish) on the traditional cake. By far the best in Mobile!
