I had an amazing experience at Himalayan Cafe. They serve very authentic Nepali and Indian food, and everything I tried was delicious. I especially loved the momo, Thakali khana set, and khasi bhutan set, along with a refreshing mango lassi. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I also loved that they have a small shop where you can buy Nepali and Indian spices and other items. Their afternoon buffet is very affordable and offers a great variety of tasty dishes. Highly recommended!

Himalayan Cafe has become the go-to place for delicious Indian food in Monroe Louisiana. All you can eat buffet at lunch is incredibly popular with locals and travelers driving through Monroe. There is an equal balance between vegetarian and meat dishes. It was particularly crowded the last time My brother and I went so it took a little extra time to be seated and for drink refills. But considering how delicious and abundant the food was that's to be expected. I absolutely love all of the Indian desserts they serve! Really enjoy this place. Been going for years. Really recommend going at dinner time, I like it better than the buffet. They have amazing dumplings, butter chicken, garlic naan, and honestly everything I have had has been a 10/10. I do wish they used boneless chicken thighs for the butter chicken, etc because I get a good bit of bones in mine everytime. Shout out to Indal- he is the best!
