Stopped by on the way out of town after it was recommended by a friend. Parking wasn’t too bad but it’s all street one hour parking out front. Walking in and it’s an overwhelming amount of choices to choose from and everything looked good. The staff was really friendly and the food was good. We ordered the Saturday special and a katsudon. Portion sizes remind me of Japan where it’s smaller than normal but just enough to fill you up. Would come back again to try something else on the menu.

Nice Japanese restaurant in Monterey and food was good after a walk around the Pacific Grove and Aquarium area. The hot tea was great since it was a cold winter day. We will be back.
